You’ll DELIGHT IN THE DIVERSITY OF APPLES IN OUR Hard CIDER. IN FACT, WE BELIEVE WE USE MORE VARIETIES OF APPLES THAN ANY MICHIGAN CIDERY, ALL HARVESTED LOCALLY AT ORCHARDS NO MORE THAN 20 MILES FROM US.

Oh the many cider adventures you can have!

Carriage House sparkling hard ciders are great for everyday sipping, celebrations or to enhance your food experience. Most of our sparkling ciders are made exactly like champagne, except with apples.

Naturally gluten-free, they have just three ingredients: apple juice that we press fresh for each batch, wild yeast sourced from the apple skins, and a bit of sugar added at the time of bottling to create secondary fermentation for natural carbonation.

We age and ferment our cider in oak barrels the way it’s been done for centuries. Oak lends flavor and tannins to our hard ciders making the taste profiles more complex, interesting, and full.

We craft dry ciders — some tart, others bitter, and a few give the impression of sweetness. Each variety is a celebration of the unique character of the variety of local Southwest Michigan apples we use. From hand-selecting each apple for every crush, creating unique recipes, to bottling, and labeling, Carriage House ciders are crafted with love.
